Shri Promod graduated from Delhi College of Engineering in the year 1969 in Electrical Engineering. He also holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he serves on the advisory board. |

Shri Chander Sehgal graduated from DCE / Delhi Polytechnic in 1961 as B. E. (Mech.) in first class with distinction. Through Engineering Services Examination 1961, he was posted as Assistant Director, Central Water and Power Commission (CWPC), New Delhi in November 1962, and promoted as Deputy Director in July 1967. He left for the University of Minnesota, USA in January 1969 on a study leave and completed there his M.S. in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics), returning and joining CWPC again in January 1972. He returned to USA in January 1973, resigned from CWPC, and, after working for a small firm as Manager of Engineering for about 2 years, joined, in December 1974, Harza Engineering Company, the most respected name in the world in consulting services in the design and construction of dams and hydropower plants. Since then (for 33 years) he has worked for Harza Engineering Company / MWH. MWH was created in June 2001 by the merger of Harza, representing "H" in MWH, and Montgomery Watson (MW), a firm known for its expertise in water and wastewater systems design. He is currently a Vice President at MWH. |

Shri Satish K. Vij, Member Engineering/Railway Board, born in 1949, did his B.Tech./Civil Engineering from DCE/Delhi in 1969 and M.S. in 1973 from Cornell University. He won Merit Scholarships for all the five years of study. His mental capabilities and affectionate personality are still recalled by scholars of his and nearby years. |
