The present Governing Body Alumni Association Delhi College of Engineering, as informed earlier, has decided to hold Elections for 10 nos. of Members of Governing Body for the year 2017-19. You are aware that the Delhi College of Engineering is now known as Delhi Technological University (DTU).
For holding transparent and fair Elections, the Governing Body has nominated Mr. Pramod Adlakha(1971 batch) as Returning Officer and Prof. S.K. Singh, Dean Alumni, DTU as the Observer (on nomination by the Vice Chancellor, DTU), who have been informed and they have accepted to discharge their duties in aforesaid capacities. Mr. Sant Bhushan Lal (1962 Batch) has consented to support the Returning Officer in the conduct of Elections, as Advisor. The Governing Body makes it clear that the Returning Officer shall be free to hold the aforesaid Elections in the manner which finds suitable to holding free and fair Elections. The Returning Officer will announce the procedure to be adopted for Filing of Nomination, Withdrawal of Nomination, Publication of Final List of Candidates, the Manner of Voting for the Elections, the Procedure for Elections, the Date of Declaration of Results, etc., well in advance for consumption of all Members of the Association, who are settled across the world.
